WHAT MORE TO DO DURING YOUR VISIT? Discover everything Laredo offers you

If there's one thing that defines Laredo, it's its beach. "La Salve," a majestic stretch of sand stretching over 5 kilometers, is the longest beach on the Cantabrian coast. Its fine, white sand and the tranquil surroundings have made it a unique attraction.

The town of Laredo is exceptionally located, just 30 minutes by highway from the two most important northern capitals, Santander and Bilbao, with their international airports.

The Puebla Vieja , made up of six streets, dates back to the time of Alfonso VIII and is located at the foot of the Gothic-style Church of Santa María de la Asunción. This architectural complex houses a valuable artistic treasure of altarpieces, carvings, and paintings, which visitors should not miss.

The Laredo Watchtower is a coastal mound with the remains of an ancient fort and panoramic viewpoints. The Laredo Tunnel runs through this hill, connecting the town center with Soledad Beach. Today, it is decorated like a colorful aquarium.

The port of Laredo houses both a sports and fishing area.

The marina is a modern marina with significant capacity for recreational boats. It features an extensive marina where you can rent recreational boats, jet skis, and other watercraft, and a restaurant offering several restaurants and terraces.

The fishing port has an active fleet dedicated to artisanal and industrial fishing, as well as a market where freshly caught fish is auctioned. This port is a reflection of Laredo's seafaring tradition and is home to the San Martín Fishermen's Guild, which can be considered one of the oldest in Spain.

Local festivals in Laredo
